Work Description:
Vaso is a jewellery brand that promotes animal cruelty-free pearls. The alternative that Vaso is promoting is called sea glass pearls, Sea glass begins as broken glass that has been discarded in the ocean and tumbled naturally by waves and sand over many years. In this process, the glass gains a frosted appearance.

OVER TIME: Tradition evolves over time because it is difficult to maintain in this day and age of advanced technologies that change the way we do things. Tradition is disappearing as technology advances. This series of photographs shows how the colour and freshness of the flowers fade over time – symbolising how tradition continues to disappear.
